Hi all
Still battling with my new 97 xk8 going into reduced engine performance as per my previous post.
The problem now appears to be an ignition control module.
Question
Where are they located, I believe they are mounted on the firewall
Does the throttle body have to be removed to access the module.
It is my intention to swap the modules over and see if the error code changes.
Does any body have any information that may assist me

Ignition Coils have many more reported failures than Ignition Control Modules.

In the North American Models, the ignition coil modules are located inside the false bulkhead near the brake master cylinder.

I have not seen a RHD car here so I can't comment except to look in the electrical guide for COMPONENT LOCATION. (it will tell you where to look)
