The thing to do is to show them some of the videos on You Tube and see if they love or hate them.

It's one or another. Women, for some unknown reason simply do not see the hilarity of the Three Stooges.

If they like the videos, then they should like the movie. If they hate the videos, then guess what. You can avoid a couple of the most miserable hours of your life.

You need to find out where they do the whole audience participation,,, AND DO NOT TELL THEM...

Tell them about the movie somewhat,,, and the stars that are in it,,, Your daughter will GOOGLE IT,,, they always do,,, and see that it is at least off the Norm and secretly would like to see it,,, She will convince your wife to see it,,, Even if just to HUMOR DAD <-(you)

They will like it,,, if only to say they saw it and experienced something Weird/Different

You only LIVE ONCE,,,, DO IT

 

OHHHH ,,,, Bring a Poncho and Small Umbrella but DO NOT TELL THEM WHY....

Pocket a Poncho for each of them,,, for after the fun starts...

And then smile and hand it to them

 

to be honest, i love the way these cars look. once we work thru all of the bugs and what not, we will have some nice rides.

 

There are damn few XK8's in Northern Kentucky, but I did get a friendly flash from one I know lives nearby the other day as we passed each other (it's been very balmy in KY lately, so I took 'er out for a spin) .
But back to the time travel paradox thing... I'm reading Connie Willis' BLACKOUT - great yarn about 2060 historians traveling back in time to observe the Blitz in London. Wonderful insight into the fictional world of time travel - yes, you should not run into yourself in the same place & time: bad juju.

 

I've never gotten the "headlight flash" in anything but a Corvette. I know from experience that Porsche owners consider it beneath them. Nice that a Jag owner appreciates the fact that someone else also likes the brand.
