Hi there. I've recently dug out my '96 XK8 from it's slumber on axle stands. It's fired up and runs no problem but when you turn the ignition on, all the warning and dash lights and the info display work as it should, but when it's starts up all the dash lights go off and it seems to run through all the fault readouts on the display. As I say, the engine runs fine but no electrics on the dash as well as windows not working, but all work fine when engine turned off with ignition on.
Any help or suggestions would be gratefully appreciated!

Hi there, yes I fitted a new battery. Think it may be discharging it over night as it was down to 5 volts the next day.
