Default XK8 Water Leak & Heating

My 97 XK8 has lived all it's life outside on the drive in all weathers.

Heater:
I've noticed over the last week that the heater isn't blowing hot air even when the engine is at normal temperature. There are no alarms on the climate control panel. During a journey the air will get hot after the engine has been at temperature for 10 mins or so, but if the engine is warm after 3 mins then the heater should be blowing hot I would have thought.

Water Leak:
The passanger side is always drenched in water, I have removed and dried the carpet and checked for leak evidence (water tracking marks etc..) but found nothing. Since refitting the carpet the car has sat outside over winter. When I check today (1st week of use 2010) the carpet to soaked again! Has anyone had a similar problem? Where does the AC drain line run, could it be that which is leaking into the cabin?

Thanks,

It sounds like a clogged drain line and you will need to get it cleaned. On my 93 xj-s all I needed to do is use an air hose from the outside. A few short spurts and it was clear. If it were coolant you would smell it. Jag has a TSB 303-11 on the low heat and says to do a performance test, chemical flushing and refilling cooling system. I will attach both for you to print you may not be able to read the popup.

If you bring up the thumbnail and print it, it should print to normal size. If that does not work let me know and I will send it to your e-mail that you provide me in a PM. I think we need to talk to management about the size of the view.

PS; blowing out the line is from underneath the car where drain exits.
