XK8s and XKRs over the Golden Gate Bridge
An old Jag buddy just sent me this link. I'd kind of forgotten about it--how could I ?!?! One of the best times ever!!! Especially the line up at the end.
If you haven't seen it before, enjoy it now. It goes back a few years, but I think it is timeless--just like our cars!
Enjoy!

No excuse, you're close. You should do it with the top down! :-) I couldn't, my car was the Seafrost coupe that came in at the beginning. But you could hear me! That exhaust note in the video is from my car with the straight pipes. :-)

That’s a long time ago, but that trip brings back some good memories, it was great to meet everyone there.
Gregory mounted a special stand on his roof (he had a coupe), and I was actually driving his car, which was very (very) generous of him and added for me an extra joy as I of course didn’t have my car with me.
This was actually the third, and final, day of a tour up the California coast along the two lane Pacific Coast Highway.
Besides the Yanks, we had two Aussies (listen for the accents), a Brit and a Belgian, hence the title "International".
There was a total of about 18 people at the dinner at the Pebble Beach Country Club (Concours d'Elegance fame) the night before. Great time!

Besides me and Avos, are there other forum members that were on that memorable tour?
If so, please check-in to the thread, I'd love to make contact again.

Luca,
I would somehow make it to a tour there!
My daughter-in-law is from Lezzano, a little south of Bellagio on the side of Lake Como. (She and my son live in San Diego.) We try to get back there periodically to visit family. I'm sure I could make a dual-purpose trip to Italy!
Your car is gorgeous! To me it is the pinnacle of Jaguar design--pure, clean, smooth, unadulterated--except for that one speck of dust on the roof.
I can imagine no vehicle that could be closer to the real life black jaguar cat.

Glad to hook back up with you and Nan(?)--Token Girl. :-)
I remember you both were on at least one other California Crusin' Tour. The one that started in San Diego for sure (and the meal at the Mexican Restaurant).
They were fun, maybe we could put together some more.
