XKR 2000 rear end damage
A while back I tried home-pulling something similar on another car.
Heat, dangerous levels of force (for a driveway mechanic) and heavy blunt instruments proved ineffective. There was no way I was ever going to get those folds pulled straight. Ended up cutting it out and welding in a section from a donor.

Hey Mhminnich - yeah, that's where I'm leaning now. I can get a thin cut from my reciprocating saw - so welding it should work. I'm just wondering what the state inspector will say about it.

that tree is what i call a redneck frame puller ,iv'e used them in the past with good results. iv'e also used a 3/4 ton flatbed truck that i call my portable frame rack LOL. it works well on swayed frame rails, not so well on telescoped rails [compacted]. when pulling at home you need to disconnect battery and leave in neutral with parkbrake on so's not to damage trans or air bags. however in your case getting it as close as possable and then cutting out rail piece and replace.
I still smile recalling the next door neighbor who couldn't understand why I was trying to pull a tree out with my Triumph spitfire. Tree remained, but the fender came out nicely.
