Thought you all would enjoy:

Just purchased a 2000 VDP SC. 173k. Rides and runs like a dream. This will give me some time to let the XKR chill for a bit

Nice lookin' ride, I'd be hitting that with a clay bar asap. I'm trying to move up there...issue is, every time I find a descent priced place, someone else snags it before me. Why all the Jags in the background? ...I count at least 6 for sure, but could be upwards of 8-9, not including yours.

Thanks!

That is the jag graveyard at the shop in the background. I would think about 30 or more are back there.

The mod made on the topaz base is coming out magnificent. I'll be happy to share the tech data for paint nerds.

It is very light and infinite/deep looking. Seems to be a great result so far

Oh how I would love to have all my cars in the paint booth! The pictures make it look like it has mat paint. Is that before clear is laid down??

yeah thats just base, the hood and panel parts/handles are cleared and give a better idea.

but ill tell you what when I saw this i kind of stopped and was like you know....if we stopped here and did a matte finish...it would be really neat but seeing the hood it will look so good traditional so one of these days I'll matte something lol.

we are letting it sit over the weekend before a bake so ill have some post clear pics next week.

Not yet, contracting was quite busy up until Covid. I actually had been in Charleston a few times earlier in the year, but was just in and out, no time to house hunt. I'm waiting for things to pick up some more and I'll reinitialize my efforts to get to Charleston.

I dont blame you, place is strange since May. Hence me rolling all over the country in the coupe. I enjoyed my time away.
