Good Afternoon All!

I am new and have purchased a car with a few gremlins

Both the driver and passenger seats only move backwards and forwards. This is good, but both the seats are reclined very far back.

The previous owner (Dealer) said that the remaining seat functions all went out at the same time (both driver and passenger). When you try and move the seat, you do hear a realy or something clicking.

Any suggestions GREATLY appreicated.

Search the forum for much discussion on this very, very common problem.

It is very likely the copper tracks at the edge of the circuit boards of the seat modules (grey boxes under the seats) have cracked or worn away from rubbing again their housing.

Probably a coincidence both happened at about the same time.

Its not too difficult to DIY, and XKRBrian does them for folks regularly.
