How do I tell if I have Brembo or ATF brakes on 2005 Jag XKR.
Need to replace Rotors and Pads

Welcome to the forum Alan,

I've moved your question from Canada Region to XK8/XKR forum. This is the place to post technical questions about your model. The Region forums are for geographically relevant posts.

Standard front brake - cast iron with fixed carrier (arrowed in red) and sliding caliper (arrowed in blue):

Brembo front brake - aluminium with fixed caliper. two bleed screws (arrowed in red) and a balance pipe (arrowed in blue):

Where Brembo's are fitted, they usually have ventilated brake discs but I've seen examples with plain discs.
