Default XKR convertible Power Window Problem

So I hand wash my 2000 XKR convertible and then drive it a few days later and notice some wind noise with top up. Both windows needed to be put up the last 1/4 inch or so. Normally when you open the door on the convertible, the windows drop down 1/4” to clear the top seal. They still go down, but not back up when you close the door. Repair Thoughts?

OH OH Mr. Cotter! I got this one. You need to do the window reset procedure. Go all the way down until you hear 2 clicks, go all the way up until you hear 2 clicks. TM

And if the problem persists, it is probably time for a new battery....

Yes, I noticed it cranked a bit longer than usual upon start-up, despite being on a trickle charger.
