On the xkec there is a breakdown of the numbers and colours of UK cars but I think from the dvla rather than the factory. Rarest colour (factory) is Yellow of which I think there are three factory UK cars, two Coupes and one convertible. Rarest internal colour was a green leather and matching trim. I have only ever seen one with this interior and the combo was discontinued after the early cars.

Do you know if these are the total worldwide numbers for Jupiter Red or just the US ? I just bought one, Thanks

Nigel Thorley's pivotal book "JAGUAR - All The Cars" gives all the goss on all the combinations of paint, trim, wheels and other options for lust about every model produced. It also has factory production numbers, often by year. Far too complex to reproduce snippets here, so I will settle for a couple of pics of one of our beasties. We love her, though reconciled to maybe not universally popular at the time, because it was produced for one year and one year only and AFAIK, only on the X100.

The colour is called Ultraviolet Blue and has a deep iridescent glow. Fitted with big fat 20" Detroits and P Zeroes, throaty Mina exhaust, full UK spec with SatNav, ACC etc Cashmere over Mocha trim, it is a powerful head turner . . . or is that my adult daughter who now pampers it? We understand from Jaguar records that very few, if any, escaped the UK in this spec of colour and options, although one appears in Thorley's book. Ours was a UK purchase, private import around the world to Australia and, for its very few miles each year, is now in the hands of its second and final owners.

Oh . . . and it has nice shiny personalised number plates, so I have not bothered to fuzz those in the pics . . .

Cheers,
