My 2003 XKR jerks on pull away.
Even in reverse.

Any ideas

 

In the case of DSG, the clutch disengages very quickly so give enough time to transmission to engaged the gear completely.
When you take foot off the brake, wait for a second. If you accelerate the car before the clutch engage completely, then it may be happens that car jerks.

 

The early 6-speed transmissions had a number of software updates. You may need to bring it to a dealer for a program update.

 

nope, sounds like a air intake tube deteriorated, and or mass air flow sensor faulty. stumbles off idle
