Default XKR vent, scoop question

So I saw some of the JAMES BOND version hood air scoops for the XKR's and was wondering if anyone has them or considered buying them. While I know the vents are to let air out and these scoop look more like inlets I was just curious. I tend to like my cars a little different than the rest so they struck me as kinda cool looking.

Given I live in AZ where summer temps touch 120 they might not be the best idea unless I attach a cool misting system to them so cool the engine, LOL.

I like them a lot, but I haven't seen anyone here with them. I would definitely consider them if I had an R

I doubt seriously they could be adapted to a regular hood without substantial body and paint work... MC

Actually they are designed to fit a stock XKR hood once the louvers are removed.

For those that haven't seen them: http://www.adamesh.co.uk/jaguar-xkr-...ents-573-p.asp

I have the Adamesh 2012 louvers on my R---I glued them on because the Adamesh fastners were no good. In hindsight I shouldn't have glue them since the expansion of the polycarbonite louvers are different than the hood.

I'm sorry, I meant an XK8 hood/bonnet (like mine)

Too proud for me, haha. With that high of a profile, they will look HUGE sitting on your hood (like a pair of size 12 shoes), and dominate anyone's eye who looks at your car.

They also look as if they don't fit flush with the bonnet (hood) around the edge...
