XKR wheel caps on ebay, please help verify.
The top left one was on the very last 4.2S models and is no longer available from Jaguar. As mine was damaged when I bought the car, I ended up having to fashion my own from various other badges, retaining only the white centre part.
How did you do that? It's looks an awkward shape to modify.
Mine is the same as the one bottom left and I may need to do the same if some collector takes a fancy to it.

AKAIK, all the badges have the same chrome base, it's just the centre disc that varies. I bought the cheapest 'ordinary' badge I could find, pried out the centre and then used the 'good' chrome base with my 'damaged' centre piece, which I refurbished and polished up as well as I could beforehand.

Good to know. I was expecting it to be similar construction to the wheel caps but it's clearly more substantial when you can do that.
Thanks,
Graham
Here's a good source for new badges and caps. Even saw some black ones: Jaguar XJ8 - XJR--Badges-Decals Reasonable prices too. They're for XK8/R also, just have to check the fine print!
They were all up for sale and were owned by the guy who runs the XKEC (Mark)
The XKR100 were a special range of XKs to celebrate Sir William Lyons 100th Birthday in 2001, I beleive, pretty sure that is right, but I if I am wrong someone will let me know..
And what Frog says is right but only on certain types of badges
