Little yellow light came on yesterday along with 2 messages "cruise not available" and "check rear lights" all the rear lights are working fine, can't think of anything else to check, any help is greatly appreciated

Sounds like your brake pedal switch is beginning to fail. Plenty of threads here about different ways to replace it. It helps to be less than four feet tall and a circus contortionist. Search the forum using "brake pedal switch failure" as your key words and be prepared to do some reading....

 

That combination is almost positively a bad brake pedal electrical switch. Replace the switch and you are good to go.
