And Yet Another Question about Mixing Antifreeze...
I inadvertently bought the green stuff and poured it into the orange stuff currently in car (Yep...I get the "Doh" award).
Anyway...my mechanic said look at the jug and see if its says it can be mixed without consequence.
Lo and behold the AutoZone brand does indeed say "Universal...Mix with any color antifreeze". On the back it specifically mentions engines with aluminum.
After all the threads on this in the past discussing the perils of mixing...should I still flush or should I be OK?
Thanks in advance.

I would flush it regardless of what the label says on the green coolant bottle. Too many reports of coolant gelling causing expensive problems by the green stuff over the years. Get it out of there, refill with orange coolant, and chalk it up as a lesson well learned....
"orange stuff"
If by that you mean that the majority of the fill is Dexcool or equivalent, then look at the label or contact the vendor and specifically look for Dexcool compatibility or that it can be used in late model GM. As mentioned above, a minor top up is not going to kill anything.
