Default ZF gearbox fill procedure

What is the correct procedure for refilling on the these zf gearboxes.
Before i dropped the rear subframe to sort the rust out i changed the oil and filter in my gearbox it was sat to drain for a nearly a week wile i waited for a new sump pan to arrive.

Now when i put it into drive it clunks in and jolts the car.

I filled it ran it put it through the gears until it was between 40-50 and then capped it once it started overflowing.

Have i missed anything?

Thanks

Sounds about right. Here's ZF's procedure:

Did you leave the old pan in place in the meantime, and what did you refill it with?

Yea i left the sump on wile it was waiting for the filter and fluid but when i drained it the second time it was still a good litre came out easily
Yea i brought the filter and fluid as one and assumed it was right. I think i have been sent the wrong fluid from what i can see.

They sent me ATF 135.74 not ATF-MV

They two types of transmission fluid one is for the 6 speed one for 5 speed. I guess the viscosity must be different slightly.
