The actaution cable used the grommet thatthe huge loom cable has to enter the engine bay. Mine being a RHD car, but usingthe Left side would be the same. The unit was mounted upright.

This is my car now, one strut locates the radiator and aircon condensor/oil cooler stack, and there is another locating the fans, which are fixed at the bottom to the chassis cross member to which studs are welded onto which brackets from the fans  are fixed
