The M-B connector.On the Bosch pump the + and- leads are marked. On the plug with its release on the top, the pos will be on the left blade this lead needs to be connected to the cars wire with red stripe.

Old pump next to the new pump, Old pump removal is fairly easy. 1 8mm bolt on the top, remove 2 hoses. Pump electrical wire built up too. all of the old pumps rubber will transfer over to the new pump. be sure to check the clock position of all the rubber hoses and mounts on the old pump for the move to the new pump.

This is the pumps lower rubber suspension, I had too trim with nippers to fit it over the hose and on the new pump.

This is the Gates heat shrink hose clamp I used to give me clearance to use the old pumps lower rubber suspension. I've never had one leak, the re torque each time the heat up and can be trimmed or cut with a soldering iron.

I got this from Grainger, but any HVAC equipment store should carry something like this. I use it on all my cars once a year, usually just after the first 80° day as the heat helps it clean and dry. I just remove the cabin filter and spray directly into the HVAC box. The dirt just runs out the HVAC drain tube.
