Thanks for the pictures. It looks like the rear window is solid piece of curved plexiglass that fits over the hump and passenger roll bar, and clips on to the back edge of each side window.
That's also a funky looking top, but probably gets the job done. I don't imagine many of these will see much rain.
If that dealership hadn't been sold to the Penske Group, I would have bet it belonged to the guy who launched the Annapolis JLR franchise. He was a UK ex pat and real Jaguar enthusiast.
That's my dealer, and it's surprising to see it there. Of late, they order almost all base cars, which the GM told me they preferred because they sold more quickly. They're showing 11 in stock, 10 of which are base cars (the other a V6S), and 6 are manuals.

It looks like it's now hidden behind the nose grill. The US bumper regulation requires "no major systems damage" in a 2.5 mph impact, but like most plastic bumpers these days, they don't count as major systems and are meant to be sacrificed.

They also order a hole lot more Range Rovers than Jags. The top looks exactly like the Boxster Spyder top. The rear window if indeed is one piece plexiglass and it does look like that I do not see how you can store that easily, meaning either the top is up or down before you leave home.
Agreed, there'd be no way to store that rear window in the car, but I suppose you could leave it on and take the cloth top off. That appears to be a manual operation.
