JTIS and Windows 10

JTIS and Windows 10
I bought the JTIS CD off eBay and it won't work on Windows 10. I've tried to run it in Win 98 mode to no avail. I have searched and read a number of threads on this topic, but nothing so far regarding Windows 10. Any help will be appreciated, but keep it pretty simple. I found lots of stuff about exe and media fire but it looked like Greek to me! Thanks

I was running JTIS (and JEPC) on Windows 10 but have reverted to Windows 8.1 as I don't like to have my laptop spending half its time sending data to and from Microsoft. The 'downgrade' was also trouble free and everything works again on 8.1

The fact is, DAO has been outdated for over 15 years. If Jaguar wasn't too lazy to update JTIS to something that runs on modern 64 bit systems and uses a supported data access backbone (such as ADO), we wouldn't have any issues.

I work in IT, and this is the FIRST program that I've come across that no longer works in Windows 10 that worked in Windows 8.x ........ If Jaguar wasn't too lazy to update JTIS to something that runs on modern 64 bit systems and uses a supported data access backbone (such as ADO), we wouldn't have any issues.
Jaguar haven't used CD distributed JTIS since 2005 when it was superseded by the online TOPlx system.
TOPlx is available to anyone who is prepared to pay by the hour, day, week, month or year:
