Finally took the plunge, thought I'd say hello!
Hi,
I've just bought my first ever Jag, having driven a fair few over the years I went for a beautiful XK8, 2002, in black. She's drinking fuel but it's all worth it, what an incredible car.
Seemed prudent to get myself on the forum though, they are a labour of love after all and I'm fully expecting something to fall off fairly soon!

Yeah I traded up from an MX-5 so didn't fancy another convertible. I had no idea about the tensioner issue, thanks for pointing that out.
