YANM - '09 XF 5.0 V8 Portfolio (UK)
Hello All
Simon here from the UK. A couple of months back I became the proud owner of a 2009 XF Portfolio 5.0 NA V8 which as I understand is a rare beast this side of the pond (one of the 68 registered 5.0 NA V8 Portfolios in these here isles).
From what I gather it was an ex-Jaguar fleet car, and so it is pretty highly spec'ed.
I've browsed around here on occasion and thought it about time that I register, share pictures of the car and ask questions.
I've also had the joy of driving a fully spec'ed XJ (V6S diesel) as a courtesy car (someone ran into my XF after only two weeks of having it luckily it was light damage). The XJ was awesome, but I was glad to have my V8 beauty back.
Thanks,
Simon

Welcome to the forum Simon,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
It sounds like you've already found your way to the XF/XFR tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Thanks for the warm welcome all
Ha - I did surreptitiously check some other new user posts when I was composing mine. Saved sig after posting but looks like it doesn't get applied retroactively.
Oh dear - I've missed the currently planned UK meetups by a month. Hopefully there'll be another in the south of England soon! Cheers for the pointer.
Thanks,
Simon
