Default XK8 Questions

About a year ago I sold my SType and purchased a 2000 XK8 convertible in great condition.
I would like to get a workshop manual, I can download on my 64 bit Window's 7 pc. Most come for 32 bit systems.

About the only non-functioning item is the windshield washer. I prefer to not go to the expense of renewing the existing unit, that involves removing the inner fender shield. I wonder if any one has figured where a "universal" pump/ and/or container can be installed in a tidy manner.
Actually, carrying a bottle of Windex might be an easier solution.
Any suggestions will be welcome

Here's the thread for using the JTIS on 64-bit Windows systems:

Can't help you with the washer problem - mine's still working (knock wood).

is the pump dead? Can you hear it running? I thought mine was dead but turned out that the plastic T or Y (forget what it is) under the cowl that takes fluids to the left/right wipers was broke and the cleaning fluid was just squirting into the cowl. Maybe your issue???
On my 03 the hoses goes through the master cyc area under the cover of that area.

Welcome to the XK8 Forum.
So you jumped out of the frying pan into the fire. A good bunch of advisors and can talk you through about any process in fixing these cars.
Great cars, enjoy.

+1 I can confirm that this method works on 64 bit systems and makes for an easier/cleaner install than previous methods (I used to run a virtual 32 bit Windows XP just for JTIS; then hacked the JTIS and installed the components needed; then this all-in-one solution came out and it is the best)

Donablum,
The inner wing liner is extremely quick and easy to remove and will take a fraction of the time required to completely redesign the washer system. The "bottle" is unlikely to be broken, but might need a good clean out. The pump is available as a separate item, and would not be that much more expensive than all the stuff required to bypass the existing system. Your call, but seems a very complicated solution to what may well be a simple problem ! Do you have headlamp washers - if so - that's an additional complication unless you installed a second "new" pump for that as well.
