User-experience tour is en route to New York, but we were on-hand for all the fun at the L.A. event.

Jaguar is on the road, again. Last year, the company created the “Art of Performance” tour, with the goal of showcasing all of the brand’s new product line. After all, the 2017 and 2018 model years were some of the biggest, and most successful the brand has ever seen, with massive sales growth thanks to new, and very charming models, like the E-Pace SUV.

Now, the company has officially kicked off its “Jaguar Electrifies” experience tour, with the intent of showcasing the all-new, all-electric Jaguar I-Pace. The I-Pace, of course, is the brand’s first electric luxury SUV priced from $69,500 and offers 234 miles of range. While the first stop was in San Francisco, the second stop was just down the street from our office, in West Los Angeles.

Guests at the Jaguar Electrifies experience walked through an elaborate maze of a display, showcasing the entire Jaguar line-up.

Starting with the brand’s sport sedans, XE, XF and the large and lxurious XJ were all in attendance. Behind each model was a display reeling off key stats and accomplishments. For example, behind the XE was a highlight reel of the stunning XE SV Project 8 super sedan, which holds several prominent track lap time records.

Of course, when it comes to Jaguar, we can’t forget about the stunning F-Type sports car. Powerful, sexy and undeniably enjoyable to drive, the F-Type continues to sell the brand’s cool, modern and sexy image.

The F-Type droptop is actually a stunning shade of British Racing Green Metallic. Does it get any better than a V8 British roadster in British Racing Green?

Well, if you like SUVs, then, yes, it does. E-Pace, F-Pace and, of course, I-Pace were getting a lot of attention from the crowd. While it was mainly the I-Pace, more than a few covetous glances were directed at the supercharged F-Pace SVR super SUV.

Following this display was a flurry of I-Pace activities, intending to show how the electric luxury vehicle works in the real world. Everything from the I-Pace phone app, to charging infrastructure was covered. For example, did you know that Jag is working contractors and electric charging companies to create a subsidized and simplified system to provide in-home electric car charging solutions to owners.

Of the Jaguar Electrifies Experience, the brand says that it is “designed to engage, entertain, and educate consumers on the full Jaguar vehicle lineup as well as the benefits of owning an electric vehicle (EV).”

Of course, a key components to buying a new car is to go on a test drive, and, at the Jaguar Electrifies experience, they have that covered, too. Models like E-Pace, F-Pace, F-Type and I-Pace were all available for street test drives. Additionally, visitors can participate in a timed event with the I-Pace designed to test driver reflexes behind the wheel.

Things wrap up with local cuisine, which, in the case of L.A., means food truck tacos. Guests were chomping on chicken and vegetarian tacos while checking out Jaguar’s electric race cars, the I-Type 2 and I-Pace eTrophy.
