Jaguar to Offer Race Taxi Service at the Nurburgring
Hail 575-horsepower Jaguar taxis for the track day experience of a lifetime.
Performance car fans can now hail the ultimate taxi rides around one of the world’s most renowned race circuits. The Jaguar Race Taxi experience gives thrill-seekers a full-throttle hot lap in the Jaguar F-Type SVR and XJR575, around the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit.
Jaguar Race Taxi passengers will be driven around the world’s most demanding circuit by hand-picked professional drivers. They can also relive the experience around the 20.83km, 73-turn Green Hell, with an HD video recording of their lap.

Jaguar’s Race Taxis
The F-Type SVR has been developed by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations as a 200mph, all-wheel drive supercar. It is the highest expression of the F-Type on sale today. The super sports car is powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine good for 575 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. More than just absolute muscle, the F-Type SVR benefits from an enhanced chassis, driveline and active aerodynamics. The all-wheel drive F-TYPE SVR delivers supercar performance, accelerating from 0-60mph in just 3.5 seconds. In short, it’s no slouch.
The Jaguar XJR575 is the fastest and most powerful XJ ever made in the iconic luxury sedan’s 50-year history. It is also powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 developing the same maximum power and torque as the F-TYPE SVR. The full-size sedan can reach 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds. That impressive stat is knocked out on the way to its electronically-limited top speed of 186mph. All while delivering the luxury, refinement and comfort for which the XJ is renowned.
Passenger laps in the two supercharged Jaguars are available until November. The price is €199 ($240 USD) per lap in both the F-TYPE SVR and XJR575. Better move fast, this experience will sell out more quickly than the super Jags can turn a lap around the ‘Ring.
