i have called the dealer and was told that there is no security code for the serial #C01219019B that is on the radio. can anyone help me out with a code ?

 

hey there, I in fact had a similar problem. I own a '93 XJ6 and I have a personal mechanic, not a dealer that works on my car and my code for the radio security was written inside the 1st page of the manual to the car. I dont know if my mechanic wrote it down when he replaced my power antenna and had to disconnect the radio but I freaked out the 1st time it asked me for the 4 digit code in order to have the radio work. My code was 5164. Maybe youll get lucky and it will work for yours! My manual however mentions in the radio section that the 4 digit code for the radio is listed on the two RADIO SECURITY CARDS supplied with vehicle. I have no idea where mine are since Im the 3rd owner and I dont think I have them anymore. Maybe check your glove box, inside the manual etc. for it?? Hope this has helped a little!
