I'll be going along this Sunday to Eastern Creek for the CMC Shannons Sydney Classic

The Jaguar Drivers Club of Australia is celebrating it's 50th Anniversary this year, so there is going to be a big turnout of Jags. I've even got the XJR on display, 10 years old makes it a classic, right?
Anyone else interested in coming along?

Well done Cameron,
I can't get there, but wish you well ... and encourage all who can join Cam for what will be a great day out.

Despite the forecast of bad weather the show will go on regardless (according to the official email from the CMC today), I just had the XJR polished & spent the afternoon touching up stone chips & treating the leather, looking forward to a wet & cold Sunday at Sydney Motorsport Park.
Should be a good day out. This show is part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Jaguar Drivers Club and there is a special parade lap at 12.30 with all the Jags getting out on the track.

It bucket'd down all morning, those who had turned up started leaving around 1pm, then of course the sun came out at 2pm, when most people had already packed up & left...
Hopefully the weather will be good next weekend for the All British Day at the Kings School...

Nice pics Cameron, they will be in my screen saver later tonight. Bad news with the weather. We had that rain here all day yesterday.
Good luck with the weather next weekend at Kings School.

Thanks for all the pics Cameron.

Couldn't have said it better myself(first thing I noticed when scrolling through the pics), are they the same as the Lotus Cortina's had? I want some for my XJ6. I am not an after market wheel kind of guy,but they do look good, and would look good on my car.Originally Posted by Gippsland

They looked like the same "Performance" brand alloys as were fitted to the red MK2 racecar (on the trailer) and the grey MK2 in some of the pics, but with a knock-off center.

The knock off centre wouldn't work on mine. But they look very cool all the same. The style of wheel though I have seen on 63/64 Mini's and MK1 Cortina's,always liked that wheel.

Great pics Cameron ... thanks for sharing.
Sad about the rain, but all your polishing work still shines through the raindrops. Wow, your beastie looks lovely!
Here's hoping for fine weather and a good turnout next Sunday for the big All British Car Day at the King's School. See you there ...
