Thanks for a great day today everyone. It was good to meet Mark and Scott for the first time today and to see their current generation cars. Big range at the picnic spot between their cars , our cars and some old Bugattis that had gathered there as well.

Will post a separate thread to capture some of the ideas for future events.

Cheers

Here's a couple of mine to start, Clarke. I'm sure there were some better photographers there than me, though, so we'll see what the others post.

Great day - terrific to meet everyone in person.

We managed to land in Malmsbury right in the middle of a group of classic Bugatti's out for a drive. There's something you don't see every day!

Thanks for the pics, better weather than Brisbane had today.
Had to look out the garage door at the rain while tuning my SU's rather than driving.

My car would fit nicely between Hawken and Steve.

Great day, great company and great weather. Those friendly insects were a tad on the annoying side though. Seems like we need to be mindful of them until the cooler weather roles in.

I don't have any different photos to add. The same shots are already covered by others. I do have some raw video footage though and have previewed all of it over the last 2 hours. Unfortunately, one or more of the clamps were loose on the mount and a significant portion of all the footage is blurred by vibration and the sound track overwhelmed by the loose clamp(s) rattling. If I can resurrect any bits, I will post a video clip and let you know.

Bugger! That's a shame.

Yes your car would help us build toward the full set.

Autumn and spring are usually nice times of year in Melbourne. Winter can be a bit bleak for a month or two sometimes, but I am hesitant to whine given what our Northern Hemisphere mates seem to cop on a regular basis. I use to work at Shell and for a few years used to have a Canadian boss ex Calgary. He heard us whining about winter weather and his comment while walking by was "at least if you go outside in the wrong clothes you wont die" mmmmm, yeah well there is that I guess boss.

BTW, that building in the background is the still operational railway station. They built them to last in the old days, gold rush money I guess.

Thanks Steve for organizing another successful day out. The Bugatti's were an unexpected bonus.

I'm still giving Linda grief about her directions, we did some of the planned route.
Not all bad as she did manage to keep us off the freeway.

Here's one of the Bugatti's - sounded awesome. The surly young fella accompanying his grandfather was completely unimpressed about just how special the car was!

Thanks for a great day out guys, good to catch up and also to meet Scot & Mark. Well done on the organizing again Steve, and to Ken for an interesting route (don't be too hard on Linda, the mystery tour element was fun!).

Just sorry I was "sans Jaguar" for the day, felt a bit odd not having her there...

Didnt have to do a lot for this event, just kick it off. You guys suggested timing and locations, all worked well. I think in the latest management double speak we have become a "self managing team" :-)
