Hi Welcome, I use my 95 X300 as an everyday drive and sometimes forget the WOW factor jags carry. I'll catch someone staring in my direction and say to my partner "Whats he staring at". She'll reply "You're driving a JAG". Oh, right! :P

Welcome. There is a small group that gets together a few times a year around Melb (100s of event forum views but just 4 or 5 couples who come along regularly). Feel free to sign up for anything you see come up in the forum.

Hi, I'm in eastern suburbs of Melbourne and I use my Jag as it's meant to be used... as an everyday car. Can't think of a better one .
XJ 308 1997/8 LWB 4.0L V8.
Gary Ayre of Jag1 in Oakleigh looks after it for me, and I highly recommend him.
Happy driving.

Gday guys! I dropped off the radar when i sold my series 3 xj6 in july.
The old man lost his battle with the dreaded c bomb and ive found myself behind the wheel of a 1989 xj40 4.0L so I'll be picking brains again haha
For the people who have come along since my hiatus,
My name is kyle. I live in paynesville, east gippsland. Married father of 3 boys.
Weekdays I'm in a 2015 hilux work truck.
Evenings and weekends I'm in a 02 Ls1 statesman.

Hello guys, Ian here in St Leonards on the Bellerine, I have a Daimler Saloon, XJ6, XJS, XJ40, XJ8, oh and a Triumph TR6, all on club plates except the XJ8.
Anyone had trouble with an XJ40 starting when hot. Perfect when cold, give her a run 10km onwards and its a swine to restart?
Thanks for the opportunity to be part of the group Jay/Neil
Regards Ian

If you havent already done it, it may be worth posting your hot start question in the XJ40 specific forum. You will get more eyes with model specific knowledge on it.

Hi all
Just starting out on my 2 year plan to restore a fine 1968 Mk2 240.
I'm living in Surrey Hills and will no doubt get to talk to all of you as I travel along on my resto project.
My current daily drive is a 1973 Alfa GTV 2000 that I have owned from 2006 and lovingly restored. Now its time for a more gentlemanly form of transport befitting my advancing years.
Regards To all especially the Mk 2 owners.
Ned

Hi Ned
Welcome to the forum. I hope we get to share some pics and updates on your restoration project as it progresses. Please feel free to come along to any of our runs in the Alfa, we are not religious in that regard and our events are primarily social get togethers.
