Do you have any pictures? I'm assuming nothing has been spilled...etc. Have you been using the climate seat feature? Was wondering if it might be a result of condensation...

Canuhandle,
What type of clothing do you wear, jeans or dark clothing? I had an XJ with London Tan that showed darkness on the drivers seat and service at dealer advised that some clothing 'bleed' onto the seat. Thinking where sweat starts bottom and lower back when you are sitting on seat may help explain the issue.
I now have a ebony interior XJ, changed due to multiple issues 'forced lemon return through corporate' I won't see the issue again.
Not sure if this help or not but good luck.

Jeans are not the problem you may be on right track as i use the a/c seats often and the stain is exactly the same on the seat and the back on the total width of both
The stain color does not vary . thanks

Canuhandle, what part of Florida are you in? My main bleed was from work pants. My duty uniform is dark blue and as I would sweat and use the vent system in the seats just made sense to me when it was explained.

Try a little Murphy's oil soap and warm water, good luck.

1. Leather Master™ Super Remover - for removing blue jean transfer, newspaper print and deep stains like mustard on protected finished leathers. This product works, even when nothing else will. Often on light-colour leathers, it appears that the colour is coming off the leather because you can only see the surface. What has actually happened is a transfer of a lighter colour to the leather's surface from blue jeans and/or newspaper print.

This does sound like a color transfer problem caused by the coloring in the fabric and the a/c seats. Many times a mixed solution of Meguiars APC+ has worked well for me, followed by a light conditioning of the leather.

Some pics would be helpful if you could post them up......
