Default brakes

After twenty years of sitting, I now have a clutch and brakes. New master cylinders. Probably willl have to rebuild the calipers but for now they work well enough for me to evaluate what needs to be done. Should I resurface the rotors or replace? They are covered in rust. What do most people do with regards to the radiator. Aluminum or expanded recore with copper? There e is no end to what needs to be done. I didn't get a glove box and door key when I bought the car. I picked the lock and read the code. The original key is now in the mail for me.

Hi egold56,
It is just as much work to replace as to re-surface the rotors. So it's all about the cost difference and are the rotors thick enough to resurface. As for the radiator, if you are going to show the car then copper/brass, otherwise it gets back to cost. If you go for an Al radiator buy a good one not the cheapest.

Thanks for the advice.

I guess the question is original resurfaced better that new replacement. I assume there is plenty of meat left on the rotors. Car only has 28K miles on it.
