Default S3 XKE Cooling Fan Electrical Connectors

So I bought a cooling fan from SNG Barratt, and I didn't notice the difference in electrical connectors until I swapped over the fan.

Old on Top, New on Bottom with the swapped fan:

What have people done to keep the oem style harness?

At one time I had literally hundreds of these pigtails. Tossed the whole crate of them, couldn't find a purpose. Who knew. These are two way flat connectors. You might find them in the electrical section of an auto parts store, they are sometimes used for trailer connectors and such.

Isn't that how it always works?! Just when you think you'll never need something after years of never needing it, then you do. Thanks for the link!

Just in case anyone has to do this again, these are Lucas bullet connectors that come on the fan. I plan on putting a pigtail on one side and the Lucas style butt connectors on the other. I found a supplier on Ebay here:

If I have time I'll make a video of the installation.

I removed the connection off the old fans and used crimp connectors to confirm correct polarity (fan spinning in the correct direction) then used shrink tubing.
