I wonder if someone with a V12 could let me know the particulars of the battery please. A forum member from another forum would like to know the CCA, ah and physical size.
My Series III has an Interstate MT-26R. In the 30+ years I've owned my V12 I've never found a battery that was exactly the same size as the original Lucas battery but these are close, just slightly smaller. Here's a link to the Interstate site that has all the dimensions and specs:
Interesting that you came up with that model. I followed your link and it shows that it doesn't fit our vehicles. And I'm sure you have proved them wrong. Using the tool I came up with the options in the pictures. I think the 575 CCA in your battery is a better spot to be in than the recommended ones with 450. Will be visiting my distributor tomorrow.
A brief follow up to my post. theMT-75DT battery that the online tool selected does not actually fit in the car. the length is greater that the battery tray compartment. confirmed that the last interstate battery installed was a MT22F which filled the tray nicely but still has lower CCA than the MT26 that was recommended by IRGridley.
