Check engine light
Hey! My 2017 f-pace 35t had the check engine light come on this morning. Took it to o-reillys’s and this is the code that came up (p2187) which is the code for the air intake hose not allowing enough air in the engine? Does anyone know if this is something that needs to be taken to the mechanic to be fixed or can parts be purchased and fixed myself? Any advice would be appreciated!
Take the vehicle to a Jaguar main dealer or independent Jaguar specialist for diagnosis.
Here is a definition for DTC P2187:

One of the causes:
"Mass air flow sensor contaminated." Do this first before going to a mechanic, clean by spraying MAF Sensor Cleaner. It's Easy. There's ton of "how to do it" on YT. Go to the auto shop where you had it scanned and clear code. Then drive as you normally do and observe if the CEL comes back. If it does not, then you solved the problem
