Default F-Pace vs Colorado snow

On the HP, Patrick asked if the F-Pace has what it takes to handle a Colorado blizzard. But to me, that sounds like a rhetorical question. I'd love to flog one of these babies in the snow!

I was expecting to see a lot more snow in Colorado but I was also expecting to see an AWD handle what there was more efficiently.

To be fair, it's down to the tyres and they weren't the right choice for the conditions. The revue didn't do the F-Pace any favours.

I wouldn't say it was a horrible review. He concedes there is some 'getting used to' but closes by noting it is a "pretty good AWD system."

That some of the photos were slo-mo gives NO information about speed or attempted rates of acceleration. It is no different than someone speeding footage of an old Yugo many times over in an attempt to make it look umm...average (because nobody was ever going to believe a Yugo was speedy).

I drive Subaru in the winter. One of the better AWD available, and when paired with a manual transmission absolutely unstoppable. I also equip it with very good Michelin Ice-X3 tires.

I enjoy sliding my car around, doing parking brake turns and so on. If you just look at it from the outside, when I intentionally drift it around the curves, it could look like the car is out of control and has bad traction.

The Subies I've driven in the snow have been magnificent. I'd really like to see what the Focus RS would do...
