OEM tow hitch receiver
Anyone got the OEM tow hitch receiver on a facelift F Pave SVR? Interested to see the view of the back of the car with tow hitch receiver but I can't find photos online..
If you don't see any base where to bolt tow bar at the chassy it's highly unlikely no OEM parts made for for your vehicle. Maybe U-Haul might have one
On the Land Rover Defender there is base where you can just bolt a tow bar

Thanks. This is for a new vehicle. It has an optional tow hitch receiver that can be added as part of the new SVR build. I don't really need it but it's not expensive so might add it for occasional use if it doesn't spoil the looks of the back. But I can't seem to find photos of what it looks like an unclear if it sits below the rear bumper or has a big cut out for it etc.
OEM Hitch Mount with Step-Up Bike Rack Adapter Installed
If this doesn’t work for you, I can remove the bike rack and take another photo. Yes, really dirty right now as its been out on some winter roads
What year F-PACE SVR? I own a 2023 but was told that, as of the 2021 model, there is no provision for a tow hitch. I even went so far as to have an OEM hitch installed by my local Jag dealer only to learn that the hitch will fit but there isn't any plug on the vehicle wiring harness for the towing module to connect to. I'm reluctant to splice trailer lights into the vehicle wiring harness as it might throw a code.

I bought one and tried to have it installed by a Jag technician who also owns a SVR. The hitch fit perfect. Unfortunately, there isn't any plug on the wiring harness for the towing module to connect to. If one tows without trailer lights or electric brakes, it will work.
Is that something different though -Trailer Assist Traction Control System? I’ve had something like this on other vehicles but nothing like it on the SVR. My towing is limited to a trailer or attaching a bike rack.
The trailer module helps reduce or eliminate trailer sway. It also lets the engine & transmission electronic management systems - antilock too - know that a trailer is being towed. We have it on our 2018 E-PACE.
How did you tie in the trailer lights to the vehicle? In the old days we'd just splice into the harness for the tail, brake & turn signal lights. I fear that a code would be thrown.

I’ll take a look underneath and see where the plug wires go and take some photos. I’m not with it until Monday but it is mostly winter grime free now.
It is the OEM trailer hitch it came with from the factory so this didn’t require any additional wiring from me but I’ll see how far i can trace it back.

Hmmm. Interesting that it came installed from the factory. On our 2018 E-PACE and previous 2018 F-PACE the towing module and wires were/are beneath the trunk floor.
Please do send photos. I'd like to replicate the installation on my SVR.

Wow! Thanks for the info. I'll have to make another enquiry with Jaguar. Now I'm wondering if the towing package wasn't offered for SVRs in 2021-2023 because of a chip shortage. The past really doesn't matter. I'll just have to resurrect the matter with Jaguar and see what happens. I'm tired of having to rely upon a 300ps 4-banger E-PACE to tow a 3,500 lb boat and trailer when I have a 550ps brute to do the job.
