Smile Service Light on my 2019 F-Pace

Hello everyone, the service light in my truck came on saying service needed in 1200 miles. I live almost 2 hours from a Jaguar dealership, so is there anywhere else I can take it? I’m not sure exactly what’s done on the service but I did get my oil changed last week. Thanks in advance

If the OCI was done via Indy shops they don't know how to reset. But if it was done by JLR dealerships sometimes they are too busy or just forgot to reset. But you can it on your own/ The car is an XE but I believe same rule applies on current Jaguars

1) Open Hood/Bonnet
Open Driver's Side Door
2) Press the START button without stepping on the Brake Pedal (Ignition On but Engine Off)
3) Now, step on the Brake (left foot) and Gas Pedal (right foot) all together,
4) You will hear audible sound, Start counting from 1 to 10 (10 seconds) until you see "Service Resetting" don't take off booth foot yet for another 4 seconds.
It's done

Hi guys, thank you for the reset information. However, I’m not trying to reset the message at this time. I was wondering if I could take my truck somewhere else to get serviced? Thanks in advance

I'll leave it to US members to comment on any possible warranty implications.

5 yr/60K miles warranty on USA Jaguars Your local Jaguar Indy shops does not honor JLR warranties. Only JLR dealerships are authorized to perform this. If your F-Pace is more than 60K miles the warranty is no longer in effect. You said you are 2 hrs away from JLR. Have you looked at in other states' cities JLR dealerships that may be closer to you? The warranty is good on all JLR dealerships

Don't you get 5 yrs free servicing in the USA on a jag? Passes over if you're not the original owner too. So you shouldn't have to pay anything if you go to the jag dealer.

Yes, 2 hours away is the closest. I see that Firestone does it. Would that work?

When I called the dealership I was told that since I’m over 65,000 miles I would have to pay $750

As your vehicle has exceeded the 16K miles per year for a 12 MONTH time elapsed service interval, it should have been serviced on a MILEAGE basis. This means it's now due the 64K schedule. Here's the relevant check sheet from mine:

I don't see $750 there .........

Your F-Pace is a 2019, but you have 65K miles on it. That means your warranty had expired. You should have gone to JLR and have the full inspection done before then. If it was done, it will be printed on your F-Pace's CARFAX report.
