Default Something just kick my car out of the InControl account.

Reinstalled the car on the account and called JLRNA. She said a bunch of cars had just gotten kicked out for some reason and she was getting a bunch of calls. It has been escalated and they are trying to figure out what happened.

That wouldn’t remove the car from the account.

It seems to be a JLR problem as I was kicked out and couldn’t log back in.

After a call to H.O. we managed to set up both my Jag and Land Rover apps only to have them kick me out a few days later.

im going to wait a few more days before I call them back

I've been kicked out as well. I figure I'll address it when my next service is due. Didn't use it much anyway. I would have preferred remote start as a function on the fob.

Just have to re-register the vehicle with Jaguar InControl website.

Sorry to hear about difficulties with InControl for members in the US. As my links take me to JLR in England, I can't tell if InControl is managed centrally from Coventry or separately in the various World markets.

My own experience over the holiday period with Jaguar CRC in Coventry, England has been very good. The PO had not removed my F-PACE from his account so I couldn't register it. I wasn't too bothered about InControl but the circumstances where an unknown PO could locate, track, unlock and start the vehicle was totally unacceptable.

Within 48 hours of my eMail, Jaguar CRC confirmed they had disconnected the original vehicle link and it was available for me to add to my account. The registration/vehicle connection process was straightforward and I was surprised to find the subscriptions still had one month before expiry. A renewal notification eMail arrived yesterday and I renewed for two years shortly before midnight. The InControl app had updated this morning correctly showing expiry in 2024. App features for location, journey and fuel level are working correctly today. I haven't yet decided if I'm entirely comfortable with JLR tracking my every move and may disable this feature.

Graham
