What I was asking was, DID THEY NEED TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS or was the geometry already in spec when they checked? (The second scenario tells ME that the rears will wear the same way again because these specs were intended by the factories.)

Often an alignment machine will print a before & after spec when an alignment is performed...just wondering.

Just so everyone knows, a car can be all green in spec and wear tires unevenly!!.
If someone tells me it was in spec or all green that doesnt mean jack s*^t to me for confidence of what theyre telling me. But this is because of what i know and 99%of customers you start talking about things car related and youre talking over their head. Fortunatly the other 1% is becoming informed or is already informed enough to have an intelligent conversation by being on here
i will always take the time to talk with customers in a manner that will help them to understand. I would rather have a customer aware of why rather than be unsure or feel slighted in repairs

For clarity. I had inner tire wear... Bought new tires... had the shop install and check the alignment... no charge for the alignment because it is in spec... No I did not keep a piece of irrelevant paper from 7 and 3 years ago respectively... That’s my experience...

oh i get your personal message to me, lol no "we" dont have a problem, and don't know what "bating" you actually means.
and am totally not aware you had your alignments done 7 and 3 years ago. My posts and comments are generally ment as a help to all on the forum and if i could see an alignment sheet no matter how relavent it is to you perhaps it can be of benefit to others. Please dont get so caught up on yourself or take things as personally directed at you. Carbuff2 seems to have questions about your alignment issue and if i could address factual info that could be a learning experiance for all, wouldn't you agree?

Yes sir I would 100% agree. And thank you for all the clarification. My apology for jumping to any conclusions. I meant baiting and I obviously read more into some comments than intended. Thank you and all the folks here for the help and I hope to contribute in the future. Thanks again Brutal

Default Checked with Non-Jag performce shop

Sent the info sheet on the alignment and pic of the tire to a local race setup and performance shop. They mainly do German stuff, but have worked on a few F-Types.

And I quote, "...after taking a look at the picture of the tire and of the alignment specs before they were changed the problem was the toe that was out.

If you look at the alignment sheet in the before measurements you can see that there is thrust angle showing the direction that the car is being pushed and typically when you have that much thrust angle it will cause excessive tire wear.

The toe being out of spec is what caused the thrust angle to be out of place and looking at the after adjustment alignment specs you can see that it is at zero now....."

So, kinda an answer for now. They do have a latest version of the Hunter Engnrg alignment machine and offered to toss it up on the rack and look at it and see what can be done to adjust with the given system to stretch the tire life some.

Regardless, thanks for all the input and I'll post back here with results, as I'm clearly not the only one running into this. Have a good Holiday Season, y'all!
