That will be one expensive set of new tires.

If it's a new one, it will be about a $12K set of tires, since there are no differences between the two model years identically equipped. It will be even more if the new one is equipped with more options. That $12K is due to depreciation.

Just turned 20,000 miles yesterday, after 2 years 1 month of ownership. Put PSS tires on last month, and I like the feel of them.

Just under 700 miles here, but then again I've only had my car for just about 7 weeks now, so I'm averaging about 435 miles a month (@ 100 miles a week) so far.

Let's see, you've had your car for about 9 months, which is about 335 miles a month or so. Which means you're driving less than me on average.

I was starting to feel like I wasn't driving enough, but maybe its not too bad after all.

Well I did have a house remodel combined with a 15-day vacation so I really couldn't even get to it...but no excuses now.

My vacation last week included 1900 miles in the Jag. You have to get your priorities straight.

I've taken two 1000+ (round trip) mile road trips in the F-Type. The seats do get a little uncomfortable. What I've done is use a massaging gel cushion, makes it very comfortable. The coupe has plenty of storage space, so that's nice. Love having all that power and torque for passing left lane squatters and when going up mountains.

I've never met a seat that didn't get a little uncomfortable after sitting for 2 hours hours or longer without standing up. I can't speak to the performance seats, but the base sport seats are as comfortable as any I've experienced.

However, the HVAC-ventilated seats in my wife's new C-300 do help.

I've found the sports seats to be fine for the 13+ hour drive (900+ miles) I've now done 6 times. I make sure to do some stretching at each potty stop. Did get 27+ MPG last week.

My very first trip in my R was a 12+ hour trip (from Germany to Norway). I only stopped for refueling, and the performance seats made the trip very enjoyable and comfortable - as did the rest of the car.

I would have had no problems driving even longer, and I woke up the next day feeling 100% fine.

I have been rather surpriced of the comfort the F-type provides. It is way better than what I expected from a potent sportscar.

The longest drive for me has been about 2 hours at one go, and the performance seats seemed fine to me. I don't intend to take any trips much longer than that in the future, so I suspect it won't be an issue for me.

I'm 6' 2" - 215 pounds, and just finished a 3500 mile cross country and back again trip. I was able to spend 3 hours at a time in the performance seats. After that I had to get out and stretch a bit. (Of course I always filled the tank back up then too)
