Default 2016 F Type R Build Thread

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share what I've done on my 2016 F Type R. I've used the forums quite a bit and wanted to contribute to the vast amount of information on here. I bought the car 2 years ago. It had been serviced at Jaguar regularly it's whole life. I had to do the coolant pipes and all the fluids. The braces underneath weren't too bad but I cleaned them up and coated them with bed liner after using rust bullet and paint. I've done alot to the car, and am happy with how it turned out and how it drives. I'll post some pictures and list the mods I've done. I'm happy to share how I've done things and provide any help I can.

Mods I've done:
Velocity Ap stage 3 with transmission tune
Velocity Ap two piece rotors with Porterfield pads
Velocity Ap upgraded belt tensioner
Snow Performace water meth
Carbon fiber side skirts
Carbon fiber hood vents
Uniden R3 radar detector
GTA car kits android auto
Oil catch can
P7 style front grill

Next Project:
Headlight lens replacement
Not looking forward to this. I've already practiced on 2 used ones and think I have it down. I've ordered a used one off ebay that's good except for the lense. Given the crazy price of the headlights from Jaguar I don't want to hack mine apart.

Carbon fiber side skirts. This was a bigger job than I thought it would be butb they came out well.

Which gray is that? The bright wheels look great with it.

And your overhead lights make interesting reflections.

It's the ammonite gray metallic. I was originally looking for a silver but this one looked good especially with the wheels. They're the hexagon lights. Wasn't sure how much I'd like them but they've been really nice to have.

@JagCNC could you provide more information on the gauge setup under Android auto? How did you implement this? This is there an app on Android auto that produces this display? Thanks in advance!

The app is on github. I use a Samsung S20 mounted under the center console lid. Aatorque supposedly doesn't work on anything above android 13 although some people have succeeded. The 0-60 timer is part of a custom adapter I made that includes on board gps.I had to make a custom adapter because my car suffers from the obd port battery drain issue. Here's the
link for AATorque https://github.com/agronick/aa-torque.
