Hey guys,

Has anyone ever seen their oil level the top bar on the oil gauge graph? Mine has never been and the dealer can’t get it there without it saying “overfilled”.
Other JLR product go to the top bar when filled.

If your 2022 goes to the top bar on the gauge, can you photo it and post it here so I can get mine fixed?

Mine is always there or almost always. I haven't changed my oil in 9 months and it is still pegged at the max line. Never had that issue.

 

My F-Type and F-Pace stay level with the top fill bar, although both are V6-S vs the V8. FWIW, the gauge is sensitive to being on level ground. The F-Pace once had a "overfilled" right after an oil change, but the ground wasn't perfectly level. Rechecking later, it was fine. If, for whatever reason, you're really a bar "low," but steady, it's no big deal.

I though my oil level on my 2022 was slightly low when I had an oil change from the dealership. Then I realized if oil level bar is completely full, it is over filled. The top of the bar is red, which indicates overfilled. Your oil level should be sitting at the highest white bar on the graph, not on the red bars.
