Default 50psi in the front and 45psi in the rear?

Hello guys,

I have always ran 37 psi all around on my 22 F Type R.

However, inside the dash it says:

Low speed: 37 all around

Normal: 50psi in the front and 45psi in the rear

Which one do you guys use for high performance street/freeway driving?

Thx

37 all round, though a bit higher after my independent has checked the pressures during a service.

Also, Im thinking that the 50/45 is what Jag used to get the EPA results, since they call it the NORMAL inflation.🤔

Mine calls for 36, I prefer 38.

I think the high pressure (normal) is for high speed (testing the 170mph spec).
FWIW, the on board tire pressure sensor on my 2021 reads about 2 psi high.
I try to keep the tires at 38psi (vs 37psi spec).

Owners manual say that 50/45 is for speeds over 176mph. It’s nice to know that, that speed is considered normal.😂

But how do you inflate the tires harder while driving at a mere 170mph before hitting the magic number?

When you notice the car losing stability, simply pull over and inflate your tires to 50/45.
