I really need to put a project 7 grill on mine. Great action shot!

I have a P7 grille I have yet to install because of the alignment of the towing eye. Instead I have found myself dealing with a water leak that involves dropping the headliner. Trust me on this: you do not want to to do that. Really, you don't.

I still love the car, but dropping the headliner is really an unpleasant operation.

I have had to replace mine so I can feel your pain. Once done, you realize it’s not “that” horrible. Let me know if I can help with any tips. The job sucks but I did the entire process in a few hours.

Thanks for the offer of assistance. I've got the headliner down but not out. That requires removal of the quarter glass and I have not done that. The actual task is replacing the "finisher panels" around the hatch opening, and that requires fishing the wiring to the hatch through them, and also the lifting struts for the hatch. The harnesses go above the headliner, so that's how I got where I am. I think I have all the access I need. If the finisher panels were slotted I'd have had it done in short order.

The finishing panels are plastic with a kind of rubber bonded to them, and the rubber is so degraded it just comes apart. There are at least four pieces made that way, and I think the choice of rubber could have been much better.

How to finisher panels were slotted?

I've go a few years on you guys.
I've had my 2014 V8S for 12 1/2 years. I bought it new in August of 2013 and still Love the car. Plus I did do an OEM P7 front grill and P7 Rear Diffuser

I don't understand the question. If they were slotted (or split) I would not have needed to feed the wiring harnesses through the panels. As it was, I needed to disconnect the left harness above the headliner and the right harness at the hatch side, where it connects to the shark fin.

Coming up on 11 years for mine. I held off in 2013 on rumors of a coupe. That came for MY2015 but I held off on rumors of a manual transmission. That came for MY2016 and I had a deposit down two days after the announcement.

I saw your car at a JAG event and it's a looker. I thought about Firesand but when my order slot came up I'd still never seen it in the flesh, so did a coin toss between Storm Grey and Ammonite. I get brief pangs of color choice remorse when I see either, but I get over it. I've got the carbon fiber rear diffuser and have yet to install the P7 grill I'm sitting on. It's the towing eye that has me paralyzed on that. Go without? Notch the P7 surround? Find or fabricate a bumper bar that has the different location? What to do?!?! Oh, and I've got a set of Hella Supertones to go in once the nose is off.

Skizot - that action shot is fantastic, you have a stunning car. If you don't mind me asking, what lip, side skirts do you have?

Thanks!
