Default Accessing the convertible storage area

Through my F-Type convertible window I notices some leaves and other debris. How do I remove the windshield so that I can vacuum?

The wind deflector is removable. With the roof down, push down on the deflector, and pull the small latches out. Then it slides up. It’s still difficult to reach back there, as the roof has to be all (or partially) the way up!

If your vacuum attachments won't reach, one strategy to remove leaves (once you get the wind barrier out of the way) is to wad a ball of masking tape on a stick or dowel. Use that to 'grab' the debris.

We needed to do that.

Thanks. This is a great suggestion, especially since I have a Dyson stick vacuum. I will manually remove the large pieces and use your suggestion for the remainder.

Or flip the car over and shake it.

But then, the debris ends up on the headliner.
If you put the top down FIRST, nothing will fall out.

(Just kidding around for Christmas)

I’m glad you pointed this out, so I won’t try it.
