Default Active Exhaust vs Dynamic Mode

Do the sound notes from the exhaust system sound better when the car is in dynamic mode over than normal mode with the active exhaust switch engaged? I just purchased a 2015 F Type R and having had two base models before I can tell the significant sound difference between these models; however, and beyond, it sounds like on dynamic sound the sound is richer than on normal mode with the active exhaust engaged. Am I correct, or is it my old age is affecting my hearing?

I believe you're correct. I don't have switchable active exhaust (just plain active exhaust), but I've been running with the fuse pulled, so that the valves are open 100% of the time, Definitely louder/richer in dynamic mode, though I can't say I tried hard acceleration much when not in dynamic mode.

I have to say that I notice a significant difference when in dynamic vs "normal" with AES on. Even more of a rich sound with more pops and crackles in sport

Why did you Pull the fuse?
I ask because I don't like how quiet my 2016 Manuel V6-S sounds at idle.
Would pulling the fuse make it sound louder?
Which fuse is it?
Does pulling the fuse effect anything else?

Pulling fuse #43 only works on MY14 & 15 models (vacuum pump). No vacuum pump on later years. Also, the valves are always open at idle on the later models. (not enough vacuum to close the valves).

Definitely better sound, richer, deeper, and noticable.
