I had my tweeters replaced by my local dealership after complaining about some buzzing and the buzzing sound came back after about a week.
Rather than go down the road of replacing them again, I just want to opt for some aftermarket tweeters but am wondering about my plug and play abilities. I can reuse the connectors by soldering them onto a new pair of tweeters but does anyone have any specs on what I should be looking for?
Just wondering -- did your dealership apply TSB JTB00537NAS2, the software update to the audio amplifier module which addresses poor sound quality and buzzing tweeters with the 770W system? It made a significant difference in my car.

I'm not sure actually. I'm going to give them a call to ask. Thanks!
Below is the stereo upgrade planning thread. Most of the resident experts weighed in on this thread. I followed the advice of Cambo and a few others who did replacements with upgraded oem speakers. I am pretty pleased with the upgrade given what I spent.
