Out for a drive to Cars and Coffee Palm Beach this morning, and my dash warning light showed all four tires low. I stopped to check and they were fine. Does anyone know how to reset/remove the warning light from the instrument panel? Is this something that only a dealer can do? BTW I just put on some Jag metal air caps on the valve stems, with the logo, could these be a problem?
BTW Cars and Coffee Palm Beach is amazing. They have well over a thousand cars, only one F Type today, mine. I find this hard to believe, as a lot of F Types are sold in South Florida.
Where are all you guys??

Can't help with the TPMS, though, sorry. But you could change the valve caps back and see if the problem persists.

 

 

That sounds like a strong possibility. I took them off but the light remains. Is there any way to remove the annoying warning light?

You should definitely take off the metal caps. They are usually made of a different metal than the stems and can corrode to them and cause them to break. Has been an issue on the XF and XJ

But I doubt that's causing the pressure error to come on. Are you sure the pressures are correct? When temp drops the pressure in the tyres drops and they will need more air. I would double check that first

Sometimes putting in extra pressure, driving for a bit then dropping it back down can help.

Otherwise it's a system error.
