Much worse, my proctologist also has a practice. I'd rather nobody practiced there as my back door is strictly off limits to unauthorized personnel.

Sound advice for your line of work. Unless part of your job responsibilities is to intimidate others (e.g. lawyers, forensic accountants, various incident response teams), less is always better.

My dentist, who is a fellow car nut, and I have seen his collection, drives an old Camry to work.

Give it a few years, you will write post dated checks to invite them to your once off-limits shrine. Why do you think our healthcare costs are so high.
Then you will want your doctor to drive something really fancy so as to complete the experience.

I was taught in school that a professional should drive a car that says the individual is successful, but not a car that says the clients are being gouged. Jags are nice successful person cars. Bentleys say you are making a lot, a Rolls says you are making an obscene amount, a Porsche says you are a follower, a BMW says you are obnoxious, a Ferrari says your self confidence level is such you don't care what people think.
